About me
I build websites. Right now I lead a team delivering enterprise web platforms. Before that I was building sites on WordPress, Drupal, and Craft CMS for nonprofits and municipalities in Atlantic Canada.
Before that I was an Environmental Design student at OCAD building 3D models and drawing floor plans. I ended up doing Inclusive Design research with Toronto Community Housing, looking at how residents with physical, visual, and cognitive disabilities navigate common spaces at Moss Park. That changed how I think about everything I've built since.
I also spent a few years doing graphic design for an offshore engineering company in Nova Scotia, which is exactly as niche as it sounds.
I care about accessibility and equity in use, not as a checklist but because I spent time in rooms with people who can't use the things we build. I care about clean code, semantic HTML, and making sure the thing works for everyone who shows up. The cat on the homepage is mine — I drew it in AutoCAD.
Design for everyone, as best you can.
